You guys see this story?

A Missouri player claims to be the cousin of Chris Paul. CP3 said he had no idea who this kid was.
Even more entertaining is the story from the Columbia (MO) paper that talks about the connection between the two including a story in which CP3 came to his championship game.

That's not that really weird a story, TMAC and Vince Carter didn't know they were related until they played together in Toronto. I went to Southern and hung out with a guy (who played football there) who turned out to be my cousin. Didn't know until I saw my dad talking to him after a game.

The problem is the "story" about meeting Chris Paul, etc.
Here's the update...
Reiter said Miguel, who could not be reached for comment, made an error on his bio questionnaire when he stated that Chris is his first cousin.
"Obviously, we wish it was correct," Reiter said. "It would save us a lot of trouble, but Miguel probably was mistaken there saying that."
However, Miguel told Reiter he is related through one of Chris' uncles, James Paul. With the Hornets departing for Dallas after practice, team officials were unable to confirm Tuesday night whether Chris has an uncle named James.

that part is outlandish. xlolx there's no need to make up meeting someone you didn't meet.
