Frank Spaziani? (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3829897) WTF???

In case you didn't know. Gene Defillipo, BC's A.D., has lost his Deflipping mind! Not only does he needlessly fire Jags (for stepping his d--k no les), but there were two guys on the staff with previous head coaching experience and he passed them over.

I thought his name was Frank?

Fixed it. Don't know how I messed that up.

I can't say I blame him for passing on Barry Gallup. They're in a bad situation right now, they needed a quick fix. Maybe Spaziani will work out just fine but I have a feeling this is going to be a temporary thing just to keep recruiting in place for now.

Actually, I was referring to Jack Bicknell Jr., who spent 9 years as head coach of Lousiana Tech, and Steve Logan who was head coach at E. Carolina. Both did pretty well, given the jobs involved. Bicknell is even a B.C. grad, having played under his father.

Not to mention Spaziani is 61 yrs old. You're going to have to do this again in about 3 or 4 years no matter how well/bad he does.
