Lehigh's #8 ranked Mountain Hawks open the VA Duals today with the number one seed and will face Ohio University Bobcats.. Lehigh is currently on a 13 match win streak going back to Feb. 2008 and should beat OU. If they do, next up would likely be the 'Golden Flashes' of Kent State.

Lehigh will face #15 Edinboro State in the semifinals today,(2 p.m.), while Central Michigan Unversity will face Oklahoma State in the other bracket. Winners will meet 8 p.m. and losers will face off for third place. Lehigh already faced OSU earlier this year and upset the then #5 ranked Cowboys. OSU seems to have regrouped nicely, having streamrolled a tough Navy team in the quarterfinals, 37-3! Lehigh will have it's hands full, though, with Edinboro boasting several wrestlers ranked in the top 10--including some recent transfers (Donohoe from Nebraska, he of internet scandal fame). Mountain Hawks also going without starter McDonald at 125 who suffered an eye injury in the Penn State match last weekend.

Online video/audio link?
If you have the Yahoo Sports package, you can go to www.lehighsports.com Click on the "media" link which will take you to the page for clicking on the Lehigh sports for the day. There will be an AUDIO link only for the Virginia Duals as far as I know. It is possible that if Lehigh makes the finals that, that could be video streamed this evening, but at least that would be audio, too.

Not sure what you're referring to..The away matches are usually audio only, unless the host schools provide for video feeds. All of Lehigh's home matches are video streaming. I think the Yahoo package isn't be--$5/month for access to all of Lehigh's athletic events. For an alum in CA, FL, etc, who never gets the chance to see alma mater play, it's a pretty good deal.

Lehigh's Cinderella season hit a speed bump in the Finals of the Virginia Duals as the Mountain Hawks lost their first dual meet of the season, 21-12 to #12 Central Michigan (10-1). Lehigh is now 15-1 on the season. Hawks dug themselves an early 6-0 hole as sub, Berger, for the injured Connor McDonald got pinned, giving the Chippewas a bonus point boost. Chips won 6/10 bouts and won the two 'toss ups' that Lehigh needed after the pin at 125. Oklahoma State beat Edinboro for third place in the tournament.
