We put the game on mute and started speculating what Tebow was saying to the other players in the huddle... "And the lord hath told me that I shall conquer all! We shall go to south east Asia and circumcise those young boys in the name of the one! I will rise up and crush thine opponent! The lord hath told me... Omaha Red on Three! GOOOOOOOO LORD!"

SEC football is the best in the FBS

FCS > SEC > FBS

Yeah, not really "nuff said." Texas couldn't beat TT, but Oklahoma could, and Texas beat Oklahoma.

"Bowl season" results, in my view, have to be taken with a grain of salt, because inevitably one team or the other just doesn't show up, or coaches forget how to coach (like last night), or players forget how to play.

If you are going to be basing conference strength purely on the bowls, then the Pac-10 is obviously the best conference.

I think USC can beat anybody. They got beat by a good Oregon State football team. It happens, just like Florida got beat my Ole Miss.

UF's win last night was far from dominating. I think UF, Utah & USC are the three best teams in the country.

Since the BcS is what it is and the system fails to settle it on the field, I'm sticking with Utah.

After USC, the conference is pretty weak.

Nobody would "crush" Florida... there might be some teams who are capable of winning against them but nobody in college football would "crush" UF. Too well coached, too many good athletes, too good defensively, too much speed and depth, and a great intangible leader at QB.

UF won back to back games on neutral fields against the #1 ranked teams at the time, defeated 4 teams ranked in the top 10 at the time they played, and defeated 11 bowl teams by an average of over 30ppg. Best resume + winning the BCS = #1 rank w/o much debate.
