Any truth to the rumor that Tim Tebow's tears can cure AIDS? Also I heard that during halftime he is flying down to Nicaragua to build three churches and two schools all by himself and then getting back in time to for the third quarter.

Must be the curse of the heisman trophy winner quarterback in the championship game. Both offenses coming out flat.

Oklahoma killed themselves not converting those 2 opportunities right in front of the Florida endzone. This game could legitimately be 21-7 or 21-14 OU right now. Such is football...
BTW, now that it's showing, Tebow for a Coors Light commercial? Anyone?

I hate how they keep calling Tim Tebow superman. Look guys, he gets some fine tail, he doesn't need you to taste his manhood. I'll take AE over Tim Tebow anyday.

Actually, Tebow is a virgin and plans to stay one until he is married. 2 national titles in 3 years, 2 SEC titles in 3 years and the Heisman. Sorry, the kid is AWESOME!!!
Congrats Florida.

In all honesty i thought Oklahoma was the better team but made the critical errors that bit them in the butt. Floriad is a great team however and even though i hate Tebow are a probably the most "deserving" team.
A note on Tebow. I don't think there's a college player, maybe Laettner, that i hated more. Dude needs to get lead and quick this hero crap. Ohh and instead of traveling a million miles away to help people why doesn't he spend time in this country helping people in need. Most likely he's more worried about spreading gods word then anything else. I'd love to take a crow bar to his right knee. xnodx

At this point haven't Tim Tebow and Tyler Hansborough basically merged into the same person in the way they are presented with such fawning praise in the media? They work so hard! Nobody works harder than they do!

I walk away from this college football season with a real sour taste in my mouth. I feel we as fans were cheated out of REALLY finding out who the best team in the land was. Every freakin sport at every freakin level does it on the field, but for the simple reasons of greed & stupidity the FBS doesn't.

College football teams need leaders like Tebow or they often suffer tremendously (e.g. Notre Dame after Brady Quinn left). I'm an atheist myself and I get tired of people trying to convert everyone all over the world to their respective religion, but Tebow at least is trying to better lives by giving food and other aid those orphanages ESPN kept talking about. He could, instead, be getting drunk on weekends, getting into fights, and subsequently being suspended from the team like so many college players do. Being angry that he travels overseas to people who are unquestionably worse off than those in the lower class in the United States isn't a good reason to dislike him. I think you may dislike the fact that he is continually being shown on television networks preaching and doing his overseas work, but I honestly doubt that he's requesting that he gets airtime. I believe he was doing work like this during high school when he wasn't under the spotlight, but now he is and every sports show producer is clamoring to do a bit about him and his life/work. I myself get a little tired of constantly being bombarded about his good deeds on ESPN, but hate the networks for transforming him into some kind of messiah and not he himself.

Tebow is a good guy and good christian (but I can't figure out which denomination) but I'll still hate him until he goes Pro.
