They are only 6-8, but they beat Maryland at Comcast Center last night and they beat Depaul in Chicago on December 10. Todd "Ham Sandwich" Bozeman is "coachin' 'em up" over there on Cold Spring Lane. That gives the MEAC a win over the PAC-10, Big East, and ACC this year. Watch out for "Da Bears".

Now we just need to have once of those teams actually get into the tourney in March. Instead of choke in the semis or the finals of the MEAC xsmhx
KEEP US OUT OF THE PLAY-IN GAME!!!

They screwed themselves royally last year lossing the MEAC tourney to Coppin. They could have done damage in the NCAAs.
They have a solid team this year. I love a Twerp loss!
You can be certain of one thing, Gary ain't scheduling the Bears again for a couple decades. xlolx xlolx xlolx

that's a big win, hope they can take the momentum into league play. wins like that can help with seeding.

Coach Thompson (John) talks about that all the time. He used to play Bethune Cookman every year as a "tune-up". He chose BCU because of his love for John Cheney (BCU Alum). BCU was in his rotation with Saint Leo as "tune-ups". One year, he actually played BCU in Daytona. He said that the band was there, the place was sold out, the fraternities and sororities were doing their thing, the place was rocking the entire game so much that it threw his team completely off kilter and they barely escaped with a single digit win. He said from that point on he NEVER scheduled BCU again.

that's a great story, reminds me of Southern's glory days which seem much farther away than they really are.
