Reid and McNafro make a dramatic comeback, save their jobs for another season and now an SI jinx? You can't write this kind of stuff! xlolx xlolx xlolx

I don't believe in the SI Jinx. There are plenty of teams/players/individuals who made the front cover that were not "jinxed". But don't worry superstitious folks, with Jackson on the SI cover, perhaps this "SI Jinx" is retroactive from a couple weeks ago when Jackson dropped 7 passes (two for TD's) that lost the game for us against the Redskins.
From SI.com: "In investigating virtually all of SI's 2,456 covers, we found 913 "jinxes" -- a demonstrable misfortune or decline in performance following a cover appearance roughly 37.2 percent of the time. One of the most fascinating things we discovered is that the Jinx is more likely to strike athletes in fine-motor-skill sports like golf and tennis than smashmouth sports like boxing. Golfers were "jinxed" almost 70 percent of the time and tennis players after more than 50 percent of their appearances, while boxers suffered barely 16 percent of the time."

Or perhaps it will just curse Jackson and leave the rest of the team alone... I can live without him ever since his little fumble on the inch yard line earlier this year

The Sox were on the cover like every other week in 2004 and still won :)

Perhaps the Chunky Soup Curse being lifted will overpower the SI Cover Jinx.
Donovan McNabb finally ended his association with Chunky Soup prior to this season after doing commercials since 2002. Coincidentally, it's one of the few years he wasn't either injured or being dissed in the media by a crybaby wide receiver.

Oh, no worries. DeShaun was do for another case of the Dropsies this week anyway. It's the same as sneezing on a man who already has the flu.
I saw a #5 McNabb "doggie jersey" at a pet supply shop over the holiday. Saddly, they didn't have a #10 Jackson jersey, or else I would have bought one for my father's dog. That dumb thing drops every ball he tries to catch with his mouth. xsmhx

At McNabb's midweek press conference today, a reporter asked him about the SI cover. He said that it's a regional cover and slipped in a joke. He said "even Arizona is dangerous" or something to that effect. xlolx Better hope the Cards don't upset the Panthers, 'cause that could be bulletin board material.

The only regret I have about my alma mater is that ~35% of the student body hails from unfortunate places like Long Island and North Jersey. We try to hide it, but it inevitably surfaces from time to time in posts like this. xnonono2x xsmiley_wix

There should be a #84 Freddie Mitchell jersey for "watch" dogs. You give it to those big dogs who bark a lot at people on the street, but lay down when a burglar enters the house.

The way the Iggles continue to survive leads me to believe that no such 'jinx' will effect them. Indeed, greater inspiration.
