Chicago, Anaheim, Pittsburgh and Montreal are the lone teams represented in the All Star game starting lineups...

Not one of those teams is currently higher then 4th place in their conference or closer then 14 points the conference leaders who got zero starters.

Meh, not a big deal. Every team will get at least 1 representative, and unlike sports with similar rules (NFL, MLB), most of the playing time will be relatively equal. Heck, the starters only get announced ahead of everyone else, if they even get that

Two teams were already caught. Montreal I know for sure, and maybe Anaheim was the other team.

I'm glad my Hawks have Kane, Toews and Campbell representing us.

The Hawks should be in 2nd in their conference if we could hold three different 2 goal leads against the commie pinko bastards in 3 seperate games.

Maybe they shouldn't be 2nd in the conference since they can't handle a simple task like defending a 2 goal lead...

Good point. Last year the Hawks handled the commies easily and won 5 of 8. This year it's like we are scared of them. I will let them win the series this year if it means my team makes the playoffs though!

I love the skills contests they have. Fastest skater, hardest slapshot, accuracy, stickhandling. The game is kind of a joke though.

The Whale was my favorite uni and logo. I do like the Blackhawks unis and logo, but it was done even better in a league I played in last year... the Homerhawks used the Blackhawks logo with a Homer Simpson head instead of the Chief head. It was better than this one...

Kane and Campbell are ASG worthy...not Toews yet, and the Hawks will have Duncan Keith omitted, he is easily a Top 5 NHL defenseman but b/c of the 3 starters will not go...It also helps the Hawks that they have SOLD OUT (21,500+) EVERY HOME GAME THIS SEASON AND LEADS THE NHL IN ATTENDANCE so if you are not happy about your teams guys not going, SHOW UP TO THE GAMES AND VOTE like they did in Chicago!!! Also Chicago has been known for Vote Early, Vote Often, Vote Dead!!!

Over half the teams are averaging 95%+ capacity (17 of 30). FWIW, the NBA only has 15 of 30 at 95%+ (8 teams under 80% compared to only 2 in the NHL, both at 78%).

Would disagree just because of the joke of a tv contract they have. They need to get rid of Versus and get to a major cable station. Once that happens, it'll be better but until then it has to be 4th of the team sports after NFL, MLB and NBA.
