What a mess this is. Alcorn fired all their football coaches and then brought back seven of them (head coach not included).
The former head coach is now going before a grievance committee to explain why he should still be coach. There's a whole list of the allegations at the below link.

Ernest Jones is waiting to go before a grievance committee to argue why he should keep his job as football coach at Alcorn State University.
Jones’ attorney, Wayne Ferrell, said Jones received a letter from Alcorn on Dec. 11 detailing an intent to terminate him for cause. As a result, Alcorn won’t have to honor a three-year, $140,000-per-year contract Jones signed in December 2007.
But Ricky Lefft, another attorney for Jones, said there is no cause for termination.
