For anyone who didn't see it yesterday on FOX's postgame show:

Detroit columnist Rob Parker mocks Marinelli during press conference (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Detroit-columnist-mocks-Rod-Marinelli-during-pre?urn=nfl,130613)

This guy is on ESPN's 1st and Ten with douchebag numero uno Skip Bayless every once in a while, I'm pretty sure the only reason is to make Bayless look intelligent because every time I've seen Parker he's personifed utter stupidity, and this latest attack on Marinelli just confirms it.

I'm amazed Marinelli didn't jump off the podium and attack the guy. The fact that Parker would hit below the belt with such an idiotic question makes me want to ask his wife "Do you wish you would've married a better sports columnist?"

I feel more sorry that Lions fans have to read this guy every day in the Sports section than the fact they have to root for the Lions. The Lions may be a joke this year in the NFL but Rob Parker is and always will be a joke in sports journalism.

Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I heard this morning that Parker and Marinelli are good friends and have been going back and forth on this jokingly all season long.

I think its just getting blown out of proportion.

That could be the case. I guess that would explain why Marinelli didn't get all that upset. Still doesn't change my opinion of him though.

That may be true but there is a time and place for everything. After going 0-15, the first few questions may be ok but in that setting, you do not ask the "Don't you wish your daughter had married a better coordinator" question. No good can come of it and it makes Parker look extermely unprofessional.

Marinelli handled that better than I would have had a friend said that to me.

Doesn't sound like Marinelli is too "friendly" with Parker:
