Apparently you thought I was kidding when I said they actually had a Spider-Man on the sideline 5-6 years ago. We did. It was awful. We need to hire the dude the made the Florida Gator or something.

I'm not going to lie. I was slightly jealous that the Duke Dog didn't have the athletic ability that Monte had. Should put that guy in some pads and have him on the Montana team.

Good point. After seeing our team on TV in HD a few times this year - I have to say that I love our helmets.

Most of us are embarassed with Spidey. We apparently contracted with some great mascot company (whatever the heck that means) for this last one and the hornet (or space-jam reject) is what they came up with.

Yep that's my daughter ~ 11 months. She's been "spider-ed up" a lot this season.

I agree we should just drop the mascot altogether. Either that or get some of those spiders from "Arachnophobia" and display them on the opponent's side of the field.

I agree, when people ask me what I know about Richmond I have been showing them your helmet first, I love that thing!
