Vote and discuss. What is the over under?

I am going to go with 13-14k, when we played Furman it was 12k and nothing has told me that Richmond has a huge fan base but they're awfully close.

I say 17k, just because many App fans may just break down and go when they can't sell the tickets. xnodx

I'm with DDG on this one.

I can't see either team bringing hardly 5k. So around 10k.
Though will be a sellout, but yet will be crickets.

I believe the game is already sold out officially. There are no general admission tickets left from the FCS Championship site.
Actual attendance? 14k, i think, is a reach. It's not intended as smack though.

Having never been to one of these, I have no idea how many casual fans show up to watch a game between two teams they aren't rooting for. It seems like Montana will bring 5,000 or 6,000, according to what I have heard from their fans, and I suspect we will bring 4,000 or 5,000 ourselves. I would assume 4,000 casual fans will show up too, so that puts us between 13K and 15K.

I say 15-17k but that may be a stretch.

Did Richmond sell out its allotment of tickets????
No offense, but they don't travel well and Montana will have trouble due to expense in travel due to economy and weather out there right now. Teams will bring a total of 8,000...5,000 of which will be the team with the longer trip(sadly). Chatty will have corporate ticks given out but there will be a ton of empty seats. It might be an official sell-out due to the scalpers and the excited JMU/ASU fans who bought early but the record numbers of the past few years are NOT in jeopardy of being beaten. It will however look more crowded than any UTC games in the last decade!!!!!:D
But I would really be interested on the raw numbers by both teams...that's why I asked about Richmond's allotment.

20k would be great, but 13k is probably more like it.

We've heard our allotment was between 2500 and 3000. We may not sell them all, but it will be close. Montana's allotment was 2700. Not sure how many of those they expect to sell. Of course a lot of fans from both sides will buy tickets that aren't from these allotments .

Tickets going for $10 on Ebay with buy it now!! that is 1/3 face value.
Might as well save some money and buy off ebay, instead of from the schools allotment.
With all the empty seats everyone will be able to sit with their own crowd, regardless of what seat your ticket says.

the biggest concern for attendance is that there is rain the forecast almost all week.
The upside is (if it is raining at game time), that the high will be in the mid 60's, so at least it won't be cold and raining.

Definitely makes me wish that App was in it again this year. Kind of funny how one of us has been in it for 5 years in a row now, but we haven't played each other.
