Mark Neville, the public relations director for the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl, was called on to sub for regular public-address announcer Dennis Packer, and he had a tough night. He misidentified Raiders receiver Zach Miller, No. 80, as the Chargers' Malcom Floyd in the first half, and in a gaffe that drew laughs in the stands, he called out in the third quarter, “First down, Toreros!”
The mistake was somewhat understandable. Neville serves as USD's PA announcer in football and basketball.

I guess Neville is used to announcing for a WINNING team, like the USD Toreros. xlolx
