Of course, UNH is still better than us.xnonox
How'd we even get an at-large. The committee must have been drugged or something. UNI clearly sucks.xnutsx

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Sagarin can suck on thisxthumbsupx. We are in the top 4 teams, and he still has us 9th behind New Hampshire. What an idiotxnonono2x .

You should see the AP and Coaches polls. Politics at its finest. Injustice reigns its ugly head with these ridiculous polls. xnonono2x xmadx

The polls are meaningless, UNI is one of the Final 4 & you have a home game!

To be fair, it's his computer that's the idiot. ;)
Also, UNI's score +2.92 home field advantage = 2.24 better than UNH's score. How much did you win by again last night at home? Was the computer really that far off? :)

We are better them on the field, and in predictions, just not the rankings. Makes perfect sense.

To go into more detail, here are the numbers:
home field advantage 2.92
Richmond 75.2
UNH 68.10
UNI 67.42
So @UNI, UNI is predicted to win by 2.24, calcuation is (67.42 + 2.92) - 68.10
@UNI, Richmond is predicted to win by 4.86, calculation is 75.2 - (67.42 + 2.92)
Let's hope the computer is as "wrong" about the UR/UNI game as it was about the UNI/UNH game :)

Looks good to me. Eastern's season was over in early October, yet we're still in the top 20! :D xrolleyesx

So interesting, of the teams on this list, UR has played #1, #3, #5, #8, #12, #13, #14 and #25. JMU has played #2, #3, #5, #6, #8, #12, #13 and #25. UNI has played #7 and #16. Montana has played #10 twice, #11 and #20. We will see if being "tested" by the Sagarin #25 really matters much this weekend.

I can completely understand the math of the model. I think there is some heart burn saying that a 12-2 UNI team (playing a top 30 team) is still ranked lower than a W&M 7-4 team. We are burdened with playing IN State every year (#233 of 245). Just saying

And to make matters even worse, JMU is the #1 seed in the tournament and had to play the #6 and #3 teams so far. How does that make sense? Oh that's right...geography...
