I wanted to see JMU lose but they are winning because they finish very good and make enough plays. I dont think it will be a matter of averages. someone just has to play a complete game.

I was listening to the JMU radio feed, so I didn't actually see it. The announcers were saying that at least one Nova player threw his helmet off during the celebration, which is apparently a no-no.

I was too disgusted to look at anything...but just watched the replay and can't see anything like a helmet coming off.

I don't know if there was sufficient evidence for that kick-off penalty but there was a holding call against JMU after Landers had a spectacular scramble that was utter bull.

I want to say that after watching Villanova in person that this game should have been played in the semi-final or even the championship. 'Nova is a great team and our games have been more or less coin-flips because of that. Great season, Wildcats - you scared the hell out of me today.

Yea, both fumbles were bad. I didn't think the Nova guy was down (it was close enough to go both ways), but he definitely got his face mask yaned. On the JMU fumble the ground caused it (that's like ref rule 101).

He did indeed take his helmet off on the field. Saw it live, and on the replay on the big screen. Which had me shouting for the penalty, I think everyone around me thought I had lost my mind.

Hopefully it'll happen. That way at least someone in the CAA wins and we get another rematch to try to redeem ourselves for a last second win in the regular season.

JMU went from 169 yards rushing the 1st game to 215
Nova went from 229 yards rushing the 1st game to just 80.

Passing JMU went from 184 to 174, still 3 TDs both games, so not a big difference there.
Nova went from 48 to 229 yards passing.

Biggest difference was Nova offensively. JMU put 8 in the box most of the game and took away Nova rushing game. JMU's linebackers played MUCH better. Remember, last Nova game was #6 for JMU 1st game starting at linebacker after being recently moved up from safety.

Nova didn't have a play over 15 yds in the 1st game. This game they had pass completions of 59 (mostly a catch and run by Sczur), 26 (TD), 26, and 22.
