Absolutely awesome win for Buffalo!! I saw the Bulls play Lehigh in 2002 and they were terrible however they had really nice facilties and what seemed like loyal support despite their ineptitude. Although they did have the "Rocket Man" and Dustin Diamond there to promote the game but it was still a fun enviroment. If Gill stays around a couple years i think the Bulls can become a force in the MAC given their location compared to other MAC schools.

Seriously, though, it's a great win for the school. Just imagine what an incredible 24 hours it would have been if their basketball team had managed to beat UConn last night . . .

Isn't that funny? Yet the state dumps an incredible amount of money into their athletic department facilities.

Actually following DI playoffs this year I was surprised to see two things. 1. how often American U. is in the playoffs. I thought they were a bad program, and 2. How Albany has been in every playoff so far this year also. I know Albany sort of rose to fame with the tourney a few years ago, but they seem to be one of the most consistent high-mid-majors. In the playoffs you always see the power schools and this year I have consistently seen both AU and UA. Gotta move to FBS to get that stadium!

Just checked their website to look at all their facilities. Very nice, including all sport specific facilities. They got a nice pick with the International Bowl also. Playing in Toronto is only a short trip and I hope they can get a lot of fans there to fill up the Rogers Centre.

This was bittersweet. I wanted Ball State to be undefeated just to add a little bit of "muck up" to the BCS, but was very happy for Buffalo.

Congrats Buffalo, you did something that no other team, including WKU could do, and that's beat the Cardinals and shut Dave Letterman up for a while. ;)
