Agreed. I think Avery's past antics played a role in this punishment. Another player probably would have been given a lesser punishment.

Oh yea, and I loved how he led into the comments without being asked a question that had anything to do with it.

NHL should have just let Phoneuf and Avery settle it on the ice.....from what I heard on Francessa today and articles I read, none of the Stars would be coming to Avery's defense.
