Of course Wetzel favors an FCS-like playoffs for FBS. He's a UMass grad.

I've been saying for years all the things in Weitzel's article. A playoff must have autobids for every conference champ (in the FCS too) and the bowls can still exist but should in no way be apart of the playoffs - except that 1st & 2nd round losers can play in them. The only thing I would add is a 3rd place game.
