North Dakota St is playing well so I wouldn't be surprised to see them beat SIU.

EIU loses at Jacksonville State and Hofstra derails U Mass on "Joe Gardi Day".
Everyone else holds serve.

Good lord, I hope UMass and Richmond do not lose. I want more than one A-10 squad (UNH) in the tournament.

My picks for most likley (in descending order of probability):
SIU - ND State is tough, but not as tough on the road
EIU - OVC is such a tossup anyway
Nicholl's St - McNeese is actually pretty good
UMass - tought to win on Island and Gardi's last game as coach
Montana - I hear there's a decent rivalry going with Mont St?
Lehigh - They are better than Lafayette and it's at Goodman, but you never know
These start to be unlikley:
Richmond - W&M is reeling and Richmond is steamrolling people now.
Texas St - I just don't think much of SHS this year
Very unlikely:
Cal Poly - they're very good at home and Idaho St ain't very good
UNI - the dome.
UNH - Maine won't know what hit 'em

I think even if I wasn't a McNeese fan I'd agree that this one is interesting specifically because there's at least some reason to believe the Cowboys match up well against and/or have a reasonably good idea of how to address Nicholls State's offensive scheme.

I am pulling for the Cowboys to win. I have several friends from GeauxCowboys that would be upset if I pulled against them. ;) :D

This is a situation where I hope McNeese wins and will be especially disappointed if they lose then TSU gets upset. But I wouldn't mind Nicholls State going to the playoffs.

New Hampshire's averaging over 50 points a game at home and havent given up more then 21 there. Maine wont be within 14 points of the cats once the 1st quarters half over.

Charleston Southern, after beating the tar out of Gardner-Webb in their own dog house (who almost beat the Carpetbaggers in Hooters Stadium), will beat the Thundering Beach Mini-Cocks in North Charleston 28-24

I didn't say it would happen... the bold print only indicates the potential playoff teams.

Noy only does UNI beat NAU it may be ugly. The team still feels a seed is possible and beating another power conference team big looks good to the committee.

I appreciate making it back to the top of the list Cat, but at least let me earn it. If you reread my post, you'd see that I put that one as the LEAST likely to happen and even went as far to say that it was one of only two that would surprise me if actually happened.

4 or 5 weeks ago, I wouldn't have given Maine a snowball's chance in hell to stay within 4 TDs of UNH. However, Maine seems to have turned the corner and have nothing to lose. Throw in the fact that this is a true rivalry game (many of these players were recruited by both schools), and I think that Maine could surprise some people.
Then again, with Cosgrove at the helm.......it could be a VERY long day for the Black Bears. (Why do I see him attempting an on-sides kick to start the game and "giving" UNH a quick score to start the game....... :( )

Pulling for us to win and picking someone else to win are too different things. You could pick Nicholls to win and then pull for us and we'd understand.
I'll give us a chance to win, if the same McNeese team that showed up in Statesboro before Hurricane Rita is the one that shows up in Thibodaux. We need to play defense the same and be as good and as balanced on offense as we were there with little or no mistakes.
If the same McNeese team that showed up in San Marcos and Hammond shows up, you can stick a fork in us, we are done.

Beat me to it--now THAT is one upset! Definitely at the bottom of the list, but belongs onthe list--in the A-10 anything can happen.
