Doesn't sound like the move will be effective immediately, but I think this is a good move for the Ducks, lock up Kelly as the successor and then keep the man that made the Ducks what they are today as an AD.

Yeah I shoulda clarified - no time table. Also keeping Kelly as OC will be great.

Not a fan of the move. In doing this Oregon will set themselves up to have to pass on better coaches out there. Oregon could lure a high profile coach with the Nike $$$ too.
