Props to Local Paper

I gotta give Props to my local newspaper, The Augusta Chronicle in Augusta, GA. They have done either a full page or at least half page spread almost every week for FCS. They did a complete recap of the entire first round. We are 5 hours away from boone and they did a quarter page on the App game and had a big picture as well. The only game they didn't cover was the Cal Poly v Weber and I'm guessing thats because of printing deadlines.

Yeah, that's good to see. I'm pretty sure that's a byproduct of Coco Hillary's success, as well as App State's. Hillary is from nearby Edgefield, SC, so looks like the local paper is doing a good job keeping up with him.

As close as Augusta is to Statesboro, GSU rarely got very much ink from the Chronicle, even in the past when we were a playoff and national championship fixture.

Good to see the division get some exposure now that there are some other writers there.

Half a page is impressive, given the whole GA-GaTech game yesterday.
