I hear it's tough to beat the same team twice in one season. xwhistlex

Should be a great game. Too bad this couldn't have been saved for the Semis at least, though.

I'm scared of Trevyn!!!! xeekx The Griz have definitely improved, but Cole needs to play a better game for us to be competitive and while the D is better, I don't know how we are going to stop Smith

Two Big Sky Teams that could do damage to many FCS teams meeting in the Second Round??? AWESOME!!!!

Like I've said, I hope ESPN picks this one up, a night game would be nice! ;) GO GRIZ. GOOD LUCK WEBER. Here we go!

The Griz CEASE to amaze me. Leave that to them. As for Cole, who needs him when the ball is in Reynold's hands??? :p

I don't remember the totals from the first game, but Weber tends to fare much better against traditional run games than the spread and option running attacks.

They won't do a ESPN or ESPN2 game. They'll put us on ESPN360 and App. State will get the national game. We'll know this week if KPAX announces they have the game because ESPN360 just picks up the KPAX feed.

Montana has given up 9.75 points per game in the 8 games since they played Weber.

20 of those (78) points were to No. Colo.

Carries and yards per?

For Chase, over that 6-game period, 144 carries for 948 yards, 6.58 yards/carry.

For Trevyn, over that 6-game period, 142 carries for 834 yards, 5.87 yards/carry.

Or he could have simply pointed out that 14 of those 20 that Northern Colorado scored on UM were in garbage time in the fourth quarter when the game was well in hand against Montana's 2nd and 3rd team defenders.

A game has 4 quarters, all of which are to be used. I don't see how any of it can be garbage time. xcoffeex

Well, the way Bobby Hauck coaches, there is definitely "garbage time" because he loves to get the younger players into the game to get them experience in blowouts, even if it means the Griz end up losing style points.

Now, if you're tellin' me you think Northern Colorado would have scored those two TDs against the Griz first-team D when they had given up a grand total of 6 points for the first three quarters, I'm gonna have to call B.S.

D@MN!!!! Weber State is an awesome team. Should be a great battle next week in Missoula. Who ever wins that game will be tough to beat. Good luck to both teams. I'll be pulling for the winner to go all the way.

No one can say for sure if they would have, but I assure you with how they've played this year compared to year's past, they certainly could have.

Griz fans wanted one more chance at Weber this year, and wanted to play them in Missoula. I said be careful what you wish for.

I am just happy that we are guaranteed a spot in the semis, and no matter if it is Weber or Montana, I think we as a conference will be represented well.

All I know is that when I am pulling for a team I hate seeing them have to play somebody they beat during the regular season but who is also good. I may be wrong but I think the losing team has an advantage in being able to look at film and have more to correct.

The last time I saw one of these rematch things was at the highschool level. Team A and Team B played a 49-48 double overtime thriller in the regular season won by Team B. Team A had a whole lot of trouble stopping Team B's spread type passing game.

Three weeks later they met in the playoffs. Team A won 35-7 after holding Team B to something like 5 of 23 passing and 120 total yards. Whereas Team B receivers were running wide open in the first game, they always had somebody right by them in the second. To me it was evident that Team A had figured out Team B's passing game. They knew where Team B receivers were going to be...how they were going to attack the defense.

Luckily in that case I was pulling for Team A.

This should have been the championship game.

Stupid Seeding/pairing committee had to ensure that the western teams knock each other out early, so their precious eastern/southern teams could advance.

All I know is that Reynolds has the highest yards per in the Big Sky. He's over 1000 for the year now and didn't even start the first four or so games.

Yards per carry obviously. Yards per game would be skewed because he didn't get hardly any carries at the beginning of the year. Gotta spell it out for the Bobcat fans...xcoffeex
