First off, you would think the Cocks would be use to it (wonder if that gets moderated???)

Secondly, Spurrier gives them four straight non-losing seasons and 2 8 win seasons. Geez, how much more can you ask for in a school were they lose to their rival 2/3's of the time? Not to mention, they are basically a .500 team. To be over .500 3 out of 4 seasons is good. (If only The Citadel could say that about the last four seasons. But I love our coach.)

Lastly, it's about the chicken curse.

I wish both teams could lose in this matchup, but I have a dislike for Spurrier so I guess this was the better outcome. Sweeney seems like a decent guy, and I hope he gets the opportunity tomorrow with the AD to continue next season. Maybe Clemson will actually show up next season.

Reports out of a Charleston, SC newspaper have Clemson offering Dabo Swinney a 4 year contract no later than Tuesday. If so, look for Brad and Jeff Scott to stay on staff and look for Vic Koenning to leave. Rumor has it he is going to Kansas State to be on Snyder's staff. VK is a KSU alum.
