Anyone else catch his whining about how Derek Lowe shouldn't have worn a Red Sox jersey to receive his ring yesterday at the ceremony at Fenway? What a jerk. Derek Lowe was a Red Sock, he is now a Dodger. Yesterday for 34 minutes he was saluted as a Red Sock. Immediately after that he took off his Red Sox jersey and returned to being a Dodger. Would Harold have him refuse to wear the ring until he retires? After all it does say Red Sox on the ring. Aren't there more things important in baseball than whether Derek Lowe wears a Red Sox jersey over his street clothes to receive his World Championship ring? :rolleyes: :mad:

The Central could be won by any team this year. Detroit is better and Minnesota, Cleveland and Chicago are the usual favorites.

Both he and Kruk had a problem with Lowe and Roberts putting on the jerseys. It could be a once in a lifetime thing so let them enjoy it. The L.A. manager didn't have a problem with it so why should two ex-players ( who didn't ever come close to sniffing a W.S. ring) get up set by it. Get a life. :confused:

I like Harold Reynolds, I really enjoyed watching him play in Seattle, and he always gets Seattle a little mention - the things that drive you nuts about other sportscasters are o.k. when they are your sportscasters :D

I kinda like Harold Reynolds, he is a hell of a lot better than Joe Morgan in my book.

I have a bigger problem with Derek Jeter applauding the Red Sox while getting their rings. I know that he is one of the classiest players in the Majors, but you had better believe that none of those Red Sox players would be applauding if the situation was reversed.

The situation couldn't be reveresed. It would be much harder for the BoSox to watch the Yankees receive yet another ring. The Yankees can stand there and say to themselves 'enjoy it, it will be your last for another 90 years'. :p
