CAA fans take heart, there was a thread a while back that CN8 was going out of business. A friend of mine called CN8 directly and confirmed that this is completely false. He was told by the cust serv rep that Verizon was spreading this rumor hoping to convince people to switch from Comcast to Verizon.

I just caught the end of the broadcast of the Villanova-Delaware game yesterday and the announcers were waxing poetic about the years of great coverage they've had, all the great games they have called, etc. I don't know if they prefaced that by saying anything, but it sure sounded like a 'goodbye' to me, at least in terms of CAA football coverage. Someone fill me in...

Some surviving news operations, but that's about it.

If you watched towards the end of the UD-Villanova game, it certainly sounded like Scott? and Jon were calling their last game, at least as CN8 employees.

I thought Scott was alright.
I really like Jon.
I also liked them as a team.

Can't stand Jon. If CN8 does stop carrying CAA games, I am fios in a heartbeat. It honestly is the only thing keeping me with Comcast. xnodx
