It's great that you have submitted bids, but don't hold your breath.

That depends on how much money that SCSU has to play with...but the fact that a Wofford would be willing to lose a substantial amount of money just to have a (potential) home game against says a lot IMO.

If you get the home game EKU will make the trip.

Clemson and USC play in Death Valley that Saturday. I doubt Wofford will make a high bid, since there won't be a whole lot of hotel space that weekend.

No. Looked like 10k to 12k. Still better than poor ole EKU.

They average 18K a game; good for 5th in all of FCS.

why not submit a third round bid?
Probably because the amount you have to guarantee goes up each round and/or maybe they don't expect to make it that far.xbowx

By the third round, I guess you are expected to face a seed?

Yup, and odds are SCSU would be in the same bracket as App for a potential second round matchup...they just might get lucky tho...

That won't be a problem:
1. most people that attend USC-Clemson don't spend the night---attend the game and then home.
2. even if they did Spartanburg is so far from Clemson to make staying there
not feasible--you might as well go home.
3. If SCSU does come to Sburg, I doubt hotel space will run out in Sburg.
SC is a small state and the fan base for all four of the schools mentioned here is mainly in state.
