Not who you think should, but who will.

I think Pedroia will win, though I would vote for Mauer. Pretty much everyone on that list is deserving, though. Quentin and Longoria might have missed a few too many games with injuries to garner serious consideration. I think Quentin was the frontrunner until his season-ending injury.
I think Josh Hamilton might get some votes, too, though his accomplishments came disproportionally in the first half of the season. (I think he had 130 RBIs for the season, 97 of them by the All-Star break.)

most definatly.
At the break the award was Hamilton's to lose and boy he did lose it.

Pedroia will win it.
I think Mauer should win - a catcher who is that good defensively and handles the pitching staff that well while winning a batting title is the definition of valuable.
Even as a Twins fans I'd say Morneau would be a poor choice. He disappeared during the final weeks of the season when one more big hit would've put Minnesota in the playoffs. I still remember the 2nd to last game when he was up with the base loaded in the bottom of the 7th with the Twins down 1 and one out and he grounds weakly into a double play. Heck, teams were even walking Mauer at the end of the year to get to Morneau.
