How does he calculate MOV?

Appalachian has an average MOV of 18. Richmond has a MOV of 16.63. How would that make App drop below them? Does it have to do with strength of schedule? If so... why does it help Montana and Weber St. when they have the 20th and 26th schedules?

I just threw in the Massey ratings for the heck of it. My list depends on record mostly. Threw out any team with 5+ losses or in the IVY, PFL, NEC, and the SWAC conflicted teams. Since Montana Staters think that the 7 D-I win thing MAY not matter I left in all of them too.

Why throw out the NEC? Are they not eligible? Isn't the NEC rated ahead of the SWAC, from which you included a team?

Because the SWAC has been to the playoffs many many times but the IVY, PFL, NEC have never been.
So because they haven't been in before, they're not even in the discussion ? How can they get in in the future if they're not in the discussion? You're in good company - Pete's Power Poll uses the same 'reasoning'.

And the SWAC hasn't had a team in since when, 10, 11years (since before the NEC was eligible for an autobid)? And never a win.

You said "you cannot believe app is the sixth best team in the nation..." and I answered "no, App is not the 6th best team in the nation." Chill. I have App ranked higher than sixth in both polls I vote in. (hint: Pete's is not one of them but enjoy your cheap shot)

It's not okay, and not an answer to the question either. And Delaware doesn't have seven Division I wins.

And the entire SWAC has only one Divison I out-of-conference win.
