And VMI damn near knocked off Virginia last night!
Sounds like you have a fine Men's BB team this year.

Travis and Chavis Holmes are twins that play the 2 and 3 for the Keydets. I played against them in high school in Asheville, NC (About 2 hours from Boone). Those two always seem like they are playing so nonchalant, but always seem to come up with big steals. They can also shoot the lights out. Needless to say, we never came within 11 points of them then. VMI is a team that relies heavily on the 3-ball. They can beat some big time schools if they are hitting, but I could see them slipping in the Big South if they are off from 3.

How ironic is it that both VMI and UK are located in Lexington?

Was thinking the UK/UNC game may be a close one tomorrow night. Now I'm not quite thinking that. Congrats to VMI though.

Oh trust me I'm one of the biggest College BB junkies you will find. I frequent the Other Sports section. That's what this forum is for. xthumbsupx

Kentucky is not that good - UNC ought to win handily.

Lost to Gardner-Webb and went on to win 12 SEC games and NCAA Tournament bound.
Gardner-Webb well not so much. xrolleyesx
VMI enjoy it now b/c your fate will be the same as Gardner-Webb. xnodx
The future looks good for UK. xthumbsupx

Except that the Keydets will win the Big South. UNCA is without 7'7" Kenny George for the season and Winthrop lost their top 3 scorers from their Big South championship team of a year ago. The biggest challenge for the Keydets should be Gardner-Webb itself.
As for UK, good luck tomorrow. You're gonna need it in the Dean Dome xthumbsupx

That bodes better for the UK out of schedule strength. At least UK didn't lose to the crap of the conference. xthumbsupx

UNCA looked pretty dominant over Liberty today even without George. I may have to eat my words about VMI winning the Big South. Those look to be the early favorites along with G-Webb.
