On an incredibly nasty, cold, wet, windy, ****ty day. Wind Chill well below zero. Its awesome we got that many there, and most even stayed all the way through.

Only 5,711 for Yale/Princeton at the Bowl. Certainly a far cry from the 43,000 that showed up for the last Yale/Princeton game in New Haven two years ago. Obviously the weather and the game being on television kept the crowd down this year.

There were almost no students sitting in their section. They had a nice band, and they filled the middle section, but I saw very few students next to them.

The band must have outnumbered the students at least 10-1.

Dang shame considering Delaware will still get 20k to attend a game at Delaware next week with no hopes of the playoffs and the possibility of it's worst record in it's history and Richmond can't even fill half it's stadium when their fighting for a playoff spot.

Jokes aside, Richmond (along with many other FCS schools, mine included) needs to do a much better job of marketing and promoting their athletic programs to their immediate locality. xreadx
