Because, even if they win out for the regular season, they'd have to beat Florida in the SEC championship game to get there. Ain't gonna happen.

How Florida lost to Ole Miss is beyond me. In any case, that was a long time ago. Florida is now clicking on all cylinders and when they are it's one powerful engine.

I still think Florida's most dangerous game will be FSU in Tallahassee. Could be Bowden's final home game and FSU has improved enough where i think they could give the Gators trouble.

I'm watching Florida play South Carolina right now. Going in, South Carolina was leading the SEC in total defense and hadn't given up more than 24 points in a game this season. Florida's up 28-3 as halftime approaches. Florida does have a defensive score, but that team is really loaded.

South Carolina's offense has basically given Florida 3 TD's. Florida has an INT for a TD, a 5 yard drive, a 26 yard drive and then a 84 yard drive. You can't hang this on the Gamecock D.

Florida and USC might be the wto best teams right now. USC needs help to reach the Title game and I don't think they will get all the halp they need.

Florida is a much better position.

I don't understand why Florida is ranked so high, they lost to an unranked team. That's horrible!

They outgained South Carolina 519 to 173 in total offense. South Carolina went into the game only yielding 257 yards per game.

Yes, Florida's special teams and defense contributed to the scoring in a 56-6 win, but that's part of it. That team has athletes all over the place. If Alabama does go unbeaten and gets to the point of playing Florida in the SEC championship game still in the BCS title game hunt, Alabama's going to be outgunned.

They could have lost to my high school at this point and it wouldn't matter. They're playing at level that no other team is at. With that said i don't they're invincible. Every team, especially college, is capable of C type games. I still think FSU will pose some trouble i

USC doesn't deserve a bid over the BigXII Champion after how strong that conference has been this season.

If Alabama can hit Florida in the mouth early, I don't know if they could come back from it. They've been blowing teams out, and no one has really stuck with them. What will they do when a team hits back when they hit them? Will karma catch up with the run-up the score Gators?

I think Alabama will give Florida more problems that a lot of people think.

I really don't think Alabama's that good. I think it's been a "smoke and mirrors" thing. If there were playoffs in FBS I think Alabama's chances of getting through them would be slim and none. Nothing is impossible for one game though. Heck, they're better than Ole Miss and Ole Miss did beat Florida in the swamp.

Just don't think it's likely though.

USC should not be in the BCS title game over the Big XII or SEC champion. They don't play anyone. The Pac-10 has one ranked team.

Not if the Noles play like they did last night. It won't be as ugly as last year, but it won't be too close. xnonono2x

Not to make any predictions, but when ESPN was showing the Bama-Miss St. highlights last night and this morning, someone in graphics goofed, and the logos for Florida and South Carolina were overlaid on top of the game.

Looks like Florida's already haunting the Tide... xrotatehx

If Missouri wins the Big XII championship game USC may have a chance. USC needs a lot of help, but I don't think they are out of the picture just yet.

Agreed. OU, Texas Tech and UT have all proven themselves in what is probably the best conference (or at least the southern division is). I'll take any of those three teams over USC. USC choked against a team they were supposed to beat. OU and Texas lost to teams that were of the same caliber.
