Ivy League - Week 9

It's Week 9 and the Ivy title is still up for grabs. Three teams tied for first and Yale is one game back.

Saturday, November 15th
HARVARD at PENN, 12 Noon (CN8)
PRINCETON at YALE, 12 Nonn (VERSUS)
BROWN at DARTMOUTH, 12:30 pm (SIRIUS)
CORNELL at COLUMBIA, 12:30 pm

GAME OF THE WEEK: Harvard at Penn. Do I really need to explain how big this game is? Considering who Brown has to play in the next two weeks, the loser of this game can probably kiss their Ivy title hopes goodbye.

DUD OF THE WEEK: Brown at Dartmouth. I know Brown is a good team, but they sure didn't look it on Saturday against Yale. Look for the Bears to rebound and take out their frustration on the hapless Big Green.

PREDICTIONS: Last week I went 3-1 (now 35-9 on the season). This week I'm picking Harvard, Yale, Brown and Columbia.

Harvard is a better all around team then Penn.

Yale SHOULD beat Princeton, but it will be very close.

Brown by 21

I can't pick Columbia until they beat someone that's not winless. For years it's always been, Columbia is better than their record, but they still end up 1-9.

Harvard's probably the best team in the Ivy League, should beat Penn

Yale has rebounded back after a few bad early losses, should beat a Princeton team that was never that good.

Brown will beat Dartmouth barring any disaster between now and Saturday

Same goes for Cornell

If Yale and Penn both win and Brown loses to Columbia, there would be the first ever four way tie for the Ivy League Championship. 3 of the 4 games next week has title implications.
