Since I started watching a couple minutes ago, NAU was down 22-13, but scored right away, to make it 20-22. Montana State fumbled a snap early in their next drive with NAU recovering. The Jacks are driving, and about to score.

I would have said going into this game that NAU and MSU were pretty evenly matched up with NAU having the better offense. This was a gut-check win for the Cats especially since we have been without our two starting defensive tackles, defensive ends, center, tightend, quarterback etc.


This team is so beat up right now that it will be interesting to see what type of team that we can field next week. Losing Thomas at the receiver position is going to hurt a lot. He made some great catches and is able to get open consistently.

Everybody laughed at us when we had eight quarterbacks on the roster coming into the fall. Luckily for us, there is not much of a dropoff between them.

My guess would be that Kempt should be back next week.
