Penn (4-1) stays alive in the race for the Ivy title.

Now if Yale can upset Brown tomorrow then we'll really have a race! If Yale and Harvard both win tomorrow, there will be a three way tie a top the Ivy League standings with just two weeks to play.

If Yale doesn't win against Brown today, the race is over. Brown finishes with Dartmouth and Columbia. Harvard and Penn would then play for second place next week.xrolleyesx

Was it the weather? No good excuse for a rivalry game to draw so few, esp. given the significance of the game and the relative distance betwen the two schools.

Yeah and boy does that beautiful stadium look empty with 9,000 in it.

Anybody have any pictures of that thing full?

Here it is, from the Princeton sprint football page. The photo is obviously not from a sprint game.

The only chance to fill it would be against Yale and BOTH teams would have to be really good. That hasn't happened, when the game has been at Princeton, since they built the place.

The last "big" Yale/Princeton game at Princeton was 1989, well before Princeton Stadium was built. 37,000 packed old Palmer Stadium in '89 for the Ivy championship game.

The last time Princeton Stadium was really full was the Cornell game in 1998, the first ever game played there.
