I dont think we should drop more then 8th with this 7 pt loss to a I-A.
We had 15 penelties for over 100 yards and 3 ints today... cant do that vs a I-A and expect to win.

Is Army I-A or I-AA? The reason I ask is because they are listed on i-aa.org as a I-AA team but in a story they are stated as being I-A.

When was Army ever I-AA? That doesn't sound right to me. Until '98 (I think) they were a I-A independent, joined C-USA for a few years, and are now a I-A independent again. But I've never heard of Army being a I-AA.

UMass will drop. Army is not a good football team, don't care if they're I-A. It's not a bad loss, but its not like losing to LSU or Auburn or Texas A&M.
And Chants fans have permission to stop crowing about their D-II win. They should have just kept quiet and hoped no one noticed the joke that is their schedule continues.

Mansfield is a joke on the schedule, but the Chants did what they were supposed to--beat the crap out of them. Fault the AD or circumstances, but this isn't an opportunity to talk smack about Coastal.
I was surprised at how much stronger Furman was than Wofford. The score doesn't show that, but that's a case of good ol' Bobby Lamb 2nd half conservatism. Felton barely played, and the starters were being filtered out early in the 2nd half. We put in option-quarterback extraordinaire Renaldo Gray, and what do we do? Run about 10 halfback tosses. Our second team defense is talented, but has a lot of learning to do. Anyways, 34-21 won't impress the pollsters. It could have been about 48-7, but it seems we chose not to play all 4 quarters. I'm a little miffed about that.
