Anyone notice that the Miami vs Buffalo game tonight on ESPN has both team in their primary solid color uniforms Miami (all red), Buffalo (all blue).. As in red states vs blue states. xconfusedx

Did they do this on purpose because of election day because i always thought one team had to be in white?

Yeah, weird. Also weird that the Ref is calling penalties against Red and/or Blue.

According to a the UB fan board,

• Both teams will accentuate the Red vs. Blue political theme of the day as the Bulls will be in all blue uniforms and the RedHawks of Miami will be in all red. The teams got an NCAA exemption to do so.

I thought it was cool.

Anyone else old enough to remember back in the day when USC/UCLA would play and USC would wear their maroon jerseys and UCLA would wear their blue ones??
