Perhaps they know their team's shortfall has been on special teams and they are avoiding LaDarius Webb from winning the game on his own as he has done in the past for Nicholls. Sure they have lucked out with the turnovers, but Webb has not hurt us and our defense is stepping up HUGE. It is working to some extent, is it not?

This result against the Colonels is the best we've done in years in the Cajun Country, if ever...and no, I do not support mediocrity. I push for success on the field and off. We're the top academic athletic department in the conference and I have faith in our AD (which none on KatFans do) to make the decisions necessary to put us on top athletically -- which he oversaw doing before despite limited resources compared to the schools we compare ourselves to most.

I am not accepting mediocrity, but I am not going to hate on our coaches when we are up 24-0. Pat is harping on negatives and has NOTHING good to say despite the drubbing we are putting on Nicholls in Thibodaux, something NONE of our athletic programs have seem to be able to do since I've been following the program...

It would be nice if Pat would congratulate instead of hate on our teams from time to time...even if we win, he'll call them "sucky" and go back to bashing the coaching staff without acknowledging the win.

Just look at what he did when Catron Houston won SLC POTW. He always hates on the SLC and the SIDs when they do not vote for Kats to get it when they deserve it. Then, completely ignores Houston's getting the award. Go figure...

Not the kind of supporters we need...kicks us when we are down, but does not pat on the back when we are doing something right. If you do not have anything positive to say EVER, you are not a fan.

Never said you 'attack' the team, though the fact you never have anything good to say about anyone shows me a lot.

It's like Pete Rose saying he never bet on his team. Considering he betted on every other team, not betting on his team sure said a lot about what he thought.

1) Throw out personal attacks against coaches without saying anything positive.
2) Ignore sports not named football, men's basketball or baseball.
3) Ignore the academic accomplishments of our student-athletes.

Kooter made a remark about Nicholls having TV saying that they have no one there, so he does not understand why...

It's a neat deal for them. Their games are shown tape delayed on broadcast TV in New Orleans. It's a good deal, very cheap deal for Nicholls, great publicity in the New Orleans area...which is their big recruiting base. What SLC teams have all their home games broadcast in some form or another on local television? Southeastern does on the Southeastern Channel, but that does not have the reach of Nicholls deal.

McNeese, maybe? Can't recall -- but Nicholls is definitely doing a nice job in promoting their program.

LaDarius Webb returns an INT to inside the SHSU15...that's the dangerous player that we were keeping the ball away from...

Apparently a punch was thrown during the return after SHSU's Watson brought down Webb by the facemask. Not by Webb though...Padding or something like that. No problems with punching as no penalty flag, but Watson got rung up for facemask, putting them at the 4.
