Semis
------
GSU @ #1 New Hampshire (GSU wins 38-35 :D )
#2 Appalachian State @ #3 Montana (ASU wins it 28-21 in overtime)
Much to my and many Wildcat and Eagle fans' dismay, that game is played on Friday...the game that has a lower expected margin of victory will be broadcasted Saturday.
Championship
------
GSU versus #2 Appalachian State in Chattanooga Tennessee
And GSU wins 19-16!!!

Come on, EG, you've got to go with your team, no matter how impossible the odds may look.

There is going to be one team that has to travel half way across the country - no getting around that...and the hosting team is determined by factors other than who the committee thinks is the better team.

I think there is a rule that conference teams can't play each other in the first round.

-That would be wild if SCSU had to go all the way to Montana. They'd have no fan support up there. No fans, no band, nobody except the team. Send them to Furman. That's the game folks want to see at SCSU.

Any school would rather have a few hour bus ride where they can draw fans rather than travel hundreds of miles by plane - unfortunately it happens. I do think that they will try to regionalize it better than posted above though.

No Nicholls State? If they win out they will be in the playoffs. It is looking that they will do so.

How many times does it have to noted that both WKU & YSU will not make the playoffs. Loser of Saturdays game is done!

Texas State would score way more than 21 points vs Georgia Southern, the least we've scored this year has been 29 vs Nicholls St. The colonels use the same offense as GSU.

GFC is up for grabs, as is the Big Sky, A-10, SoCon, etc. But the Gateway seems to be the deepest conference, more questions to be answered...

I have to ask.
If Montana State gets in, how do the grizzlies get seeded?
MSU pretty much will have to win out to get in. That means they beat UM. No way the grizzlies get seeded if the Cats beat'em.

App. State 42-17 over Furman?
Have you at all followed the ASU/Furman series over the last 5 years?
It doesn't matter where it is, who's angry, who's good, it's always an insanely close game. And once again, it seems that people keep forgetting that we beat App...I'm guessing that it was a fluke, right?

Yes, let me bring up blackfordpu's point...
Nicholls should win next two and have SLC auto-bid. The 'Cats from San Marcos get in with two wins, but do not get the auto-bid...
