Biggest test for Mid-Majors this weekend. Utah vs. TCU hope this game is close. :)
If Boise State can stay the course and win out they are definitely BCS bound. They are moving up each week. That's a great sign!

Must be a typo there with Boise having the position and number they do.
If Utah wins out, nothing Boise does moves them ahead of Utah for the auto birth into the BCS.

Should Texas Tech stay in this position, nothing would stick in UT's craw more. Both share Baylor which both will probably win, but TT still has to play Oklahoma St. and Oklahoma both tough opponents and could very likely loose. All Texas has left is Kansas and A&M, neither one likely to beat Texas unless they completely fall apart. Texas may still sneak into the fictional national championship team if they win out and the teams above them lose one or two games.

Man, if UT makes the title game without even making it to the conference title game, the BCS will be answering lots of questions. It was bad when a conference title game loser made it.

I think they changed the rules after it happened. Now, you have to win your Conference to get in to the Title game. Every other BCS Bowl is up for grabs (see: Kansas, Orange Bowl)

Then all I have to say is USC had better not make the NC game either.

Most overrated team in the BCS by far.

Nope.
PENN STATE IS.xnodx
They have only played 1 top 10 ranked team this year ond only 2 ranked teams all year including Oregon at the time.
Coastal Carolina w
Oregon 4-3 w
Syracuse 1-6 w
Temple 3-5 w
Illinois 4-4 w
Purdue 3-6 w
Ohio St 7-2 w
Only team worth BCS note left on their schedule is Michigan St. the last game.
Iowa is 5-3 and Indiana is 3-5.
Penn St. better Hope the 2 team's behind them don't jump them.xnodx

tt loses one of the next two if not both and then it becomes a question of whether or not penn st can hold off florida, usc, oklahoma, ut and the other one loss teams...

FWIW - Penn St beat Oregon State 45-14, not Oregon.

IMO Penn State should atleast hold off USC since Penn State beat the team that beat them.
The SEC and Big 12 teams are real threats to PSU.

Take a good look at Alabama's resume. Not much better than Penn State's.
Clemson 34-10 (Clemson fell on its face this year)
Tulane 20-6 (should have beaten a CUSA team by more than 14)
WKU 41-7 xrolleyesx
Arkansas 49-14 (respectable opponent)
Georgia 41-30 (Georgia has also fallen a bit)
Kentucky 17-14
Mississippi 24-20 xcoffeex
Tennessee 29-9
Arkansas St. 35-0 (this game is a complete joke)
Bama may have an edge, but it's not much. They will be tested against LSU. I'm pulling for PSU and JoePa (Nick Saban is also a complete ass, which makes it even more motivating) so hopefully LSU sticks it to the tide.

Well, if Utah goes undefeated they'll have two top 20 teams on their schedule, beat the team that beat USC and still won't pass them.

By overrated I assume you think they will lose to LSU or FLorida in the SEC championship game? Because any undefeated SEC team is a assured a spot in the title game.

I'm not sure how others feel, but if it came down to it I would put a one loss Florida team in the title game over Penn State

How...how is PSU's schedule even comparable to this? The Big10 has slowly been declining the past few years and I do not want to see another team from that conference get smashed in a NC game. If 'Bama wins out, hell even if they beat LSU, there is no possible way you can say that they're overrated. The SEC may not be as strong as it was last year, but they're at least equal to the BigXII in conference strength.

What about COASTAL COROLINA ON PENN STATE SCHEDULE
Is that not a JOKE also..

Man.
I would take Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss over any of these teams:
Coastal Carolina, Syracuse, Temple, Illinois, Purdue, Indiana, and Iowa.
Hell.
I'd take Arkansas over those teams. xlolx
And don't forget Bamma still has to play LSU, Miss. State and Auburn.
Then they will have to play FLORIDA in the SEC Championship if they win all 3 of those.
Bamm go through all that and it's over.
No way Penn State get's in unless Texas tech loses.
Penn State has Iowa and Indiana left to play. xlolx
Penn State will be undefeated on the outside looking in without help.xlolx

Tide in red and Lions in White. And have a Bear Bryant impersonator sit next to JoePa in the booth.xthumbsupx

That is because the BCS system completely sucks. Since Utah is not in a BCS conferece they are screwed. The only fix is a 16 team playoff like the FCS has.

Georgia was undefeated when Bama beat them in Athens, that's no easy task. If LSU plays like they did against Florida and Georgia, Bama will spank them.
Ole Miss beat Florida in the Swamp, I guess the Gators are overrated too? Clemson fell on it's face because Bama punched them in the mouth the first week of the season.
