Clawson was gonna quit??

Just talked to a guy in my office (everybody here is big Tenn. fans) and he said that Dave Clawson wanted Crompton benched after the UCLA game and threatened to quit after the Auburn game if it didn't happen. That's when Fulmer opened the QB competition up.

Anybody else hear that?

Would've been interesting to see if he went to consult at UR for the rest of the season.
