atlanta may be next... our last title was oct 95 with the braves... and i really dont see that changing any time soon...

No, dude, I was fully prepared to do that myself when I read your post. That '91 Skins team was such a flash in the pan that it's hard to remember sometimes. My mind always equates Skins greatness to the early to mid 80s. Riggins, not Rypien (sp).

The Wild have been in the Twin Cities since 2000 or so.

Skins won in Jan 92; Twins Oct 91.
But they both have major * for this honor. Minny was without hocky for several years and DC was without baseball for many, many years. Neither comes close to what Philly endured.

DC Baseball hasn't won a World Series since 1924, that's about 50 years of baseball without a title.

Minnesota hockey hasn't won a stanley cup, and there have been around 35 years of hockey (Wild + North Stars)

IMO it's consecutive years. Just getting the Wild and Nats were victories for the cities. xthumbsupx
