What are the records of the top 22 (top 20 eligible) GPI teams against the top 28 GPI? (You can add Army & SDSU wins, 28 is my arbitrary number :p )

For instance, UR is 3-2 with 1 game remaining. I think JMU is 5-0 with 1 game remaining. I think W&M is 1-1 with 2 games remaining.

That might be a good starting point for quality wins...

Yeah, I knew there were a couple I was omitting but I couldn't figure out who. Then I remembered, it's the two cupcakes that the eastern power conferences get in the first round every year.

And you might have it.

a little too much love is being distributed to the mvfcI agree, and I still think UNI has been over-rated in a lot of polls. Jury is out on SIU and WIU, though. However, I think both of those teams are better than UNI.

GPI seems more accurate to me.

Dude, u're nutz!

I know SIU won by 3 against UNI at SIU. But you have to remember that SIU returned the opening kickoff for a TD. UNI had a first half kickoff return for a TD Called back on penalty. UNI turned the ball over 5 times. Once time at the one yard line going in for go ahead score. The final one with less than a minute left where SIU was already in FG position and kicked game winning FG to end game. If we rematch in Playoffs....no way UNI loses.

Finally, too many people are dwelling on UNI's 1 point win at YSU. YSU gets soo jacked for UNI they started the game with an onside kick. UNI was starting a Red-shirt Freshman QB. I won't even go into the other injuries as I know YSU has many as well.

I'll agree UNI is over-rated at #4 in the coaches poll.....but we have legit Top 10 talent.
