Western Kentucky (16 - 9) (5 - 5) gets their 16th win of the season with a 3 - 2 win over New Orleans (14 - 8) (7 - 4) (22 - 25, 25 - 23, 25 - 16, 22 - 25, 16 - 14)

WKU finished with 64 kills, 63 digs, 60 assists, 23 blocks and 8 aces
UNO finished with 63 digs, 53 kills, 45 assists, 14 blocks, and 6 aces

Individually, 3 Lady Toppers poster 20+ stats
Orr had 20 kills
Argabright 20 kills
Hofmeyer 27 digs
Noe had 52 assists

WKU is at a distant 3rd in the Sun Belt East with a (5 - 5) record behind Florida International and Middle Tennessee. The Lady Toppers will play Louisiana-Lafayette tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 PM.

You have lots to learn about volleyball...those team stats do not mean too much for someone who is trying to find out why a certain team won a match and so forth...

And WKU is a mediocre VB team this year. Five sets with UNO at home? If the bottom of the SBC was not so bad (namely every team behind WKU in the SBC East), WKU may be sitting on the sidelines come the conference tournament....the mighty have fallen.

If WKU is so mediocre, then Alabama and Arizona State just flat out suck then because WKU beat those teams earlier and almost swept MTSU in the regular season. I thought that our tough non-conference schedule should have helped in the SBC, losing to Cincinnati, Miami (OH), and Michigan;)

I don't know what happened in the middle of the conference with their 4-game losing streak. xnonono2x
