Surprised UMass is our lone representative from the FCS World...
Would think that especially with schools like Boston Univ, LSU and Washington, that we'd see an entrant from possibly a Furman or Wofford...
Saw the video of the sport online a few weeks ago -- looks rather entertaining. GO UMASS!

We're talking about legitimate contenders for the CQWC....we all know Princeton's beaters are going to be a glaring weakness this year. xrulesx
In all honesty, overlooked Princeton. xnonono2x

Something tells me that MIT geeks are inventing a way to get brooms with jet packs so they can actually fly.

Who knew Quidditch, MIT, and the Darwin Awards would all be potential topics in a single "When Disaster Strikes" episode on the Discovery channel?

Yeah but they are so geeky they'd reserve the use of the jetpacks to play this stupid game and put dumb ***** on the MIT dome.

Ah, the 2008 College Quidditch Cup, brought to you by Viagra...
Is it healthy to grab your "brooms" that way in public? Or legal?

But look how the eastern colleges dominate this sport! The west sucks so bad, no a single team made it.
