Only three MLB teams now have never been to the World Series:
Seattle, Washington and Texas.
Every other team has been to the World Series since the SCRUBS last went

The last 4 expansion teams have all been to the Series now and two of them have won. Tampa can make it 3 out of 4.

That makes it even worse for the Scrubs.
Maybe Chicago should petition for a NL expansion team.

Looking forward to being able to say "you know, I had season tickets the first year the Nats played in Washington - they played in RFK back then and they were always awful. Now they're in the World Series."
To which I'm sure I'll hear "shut up, grandpa!"

No way. A Seattle-to-Oklahoma City-style move doesn't make sense, either. The new owner would be committed to stay in Chicago, even if it would be Cuban.

The Nationals are the re-located Montreal Expos, who had a real great shot to make the 1994 World Series -- until greed interrupted.
The 1994 Expos could have been one of baseball's great teams. Take a look at who they had. Unfortunately, after the strike, the Expos' ownership decided to trade off the team.

I dont see any of those three teams making it anytime soon... Seattle sure was close a few times in the last 15 years though
