That's the only real objection I have. They are 4-4 vs. DI opponents.

App St first after losing? regardless of who they lost to, they lost. And how can you completely leave Coastal off the list.

November 7th, 2005, 12:28 PM
3 of the teams they lost to are top 25 teams....
costal is top 10 in almost every poll, umass is top 10 maybe even top 5, and richmond is looking to win a share of the a-10 if they win out. i think JMU is a little over rated in my own poll but i dont see any other worth candidates. i love portland st. but they cant seem to put it together in the big games. and jmu just beat bill and mary so i gave them the nod.

How do we beat the #1 team and only move up one spot?

footballsmarts1
November 7th, 2005, 12:35 PM
app st. is the real deal... 2 i-a losses and given the number 6 team in the nation all they could handle. lost to furman a former #1 by a field goal. they deserve it as much as anyone.

i believe UNh is the best team is the nation.. but im a fan and bias.... plus they have to answer some questions first.

their 3 losses are more respectable then UNH's one whooping... to a team that has fallen by the way side

GSU i have alot of respect for you guys and its not a slight or slap in the face at all but a loss to mcneese and wofford and close game to northeastern... the furman win does not overcome that. besides in rival game you through records out of the window... you guys where paying them back for last year

losing to two 1A's by a combined score of 60-8... doesn't give ASU any 'brownie' points in my book...

so 14-0 against LSU against their starters isn't impressive? and should have been 14-7

What's with 14-0 or 14-7... the real scores were 8-60!

Were LSU's 35-7 win over Western Illinois or 35-10 win over The Citadel similarly unimpressive?

contrary to your belief, the final score is not the only indicator of a game

Sorry.. I remain unimpressed... their best wins... over a subpar GSU... a questionable CCU and 1-8 Kent isn't nearly enough to rank them at the top.

sorry app guy... final score says it all..... ppl say UNH got beat by hofstra because they moved the ball at will (supposedly) but they won the game. only time i think their is other factors is if the team wins by a little but were just blowing opportunities. if the score says you win then you win.... thats the name of the game

Sorry... however a win over 4-4 EKU isn't any more impressive than one over a 1-8 Kent St... ;)

Nor is 1 win over scholarship giving DI teams.

You obviously didn't see the game this past Saturday...

...ask Cap'n and Ralph if GSU is subpar, they were at the game and saw it for themselves.
