Another comical request from PETA. They want the owners of Big Brown to castrate him so his offspring don't race and possibly break down. Isn't castration some form of animal cruelty? Slicing the scrotum sack and removing his nuts makes me cringe. Three Chimneys Farm at Midway, Kentucky have purchased the stud services of unbeaten Big Brown for $50 million. I'm sure the owners of Big Brown threw PETA's letter in the the trash can.

Must be nice to be a retired big time race horse. You get to chill out in a pasture and have sex with a bunch of hot mares.

They probably want the cut off wang to play with. More desirable and easier to obtain than a human one.

When racehorses are put out to stud, do they actually do it the old fashioned way, or do they just "harvest" and divide it up for artificial insem.?

I know that in the cattle/dairy industry, it's pretty much all done artificially. But not sure about horses.

I think the rules for race horses are that they must be bread naturally.

I think Standardbreds (trotters and pacers) can be artifically inseminated. Not sure about Quarterhorses. Thoroughbreds must be naturally inseminated.

Simple solution for PETA. Buy out Three Chimneys Farm for $50 million and then put Big Brown to sleep. Put your money where your mouths are you dip*****s.
