Congrats to Lynch. He deserves it!

On the shock of them knowing about ASU, you have to realize that everyone knows about App because of the Michigan game. When you are the first to pull upsets like that you will get more national exposure than you can buy.

Well when you win three straight national championships and went in and beat Michigan at the big house last year they do happen to hear more about ya.

That being said I love that he got his first pick because I am a Bengals fan!! However, our team is terrible.

Well when you beat Michigan at the big house last year they give you respect and coupled with winning 3 straight titles people do happen to hear more about ya.

That being said I love that he got his first pick because I am a Bengals fan!! However, our team is terrible.

I corrected that for you. :)

ESPN and CBS are only giving ASU credit for that one win, which might not be fair but it is what it is. While the FCS 3 straight titles are impressive you only get national respect from those media outlets when you beat a team like Michigan. However, it is definitely true that the 3 titles have helped them again exposure with some recruits and increase the quality of freshman applicants a little as well.

I was so happy for him when I heard about this. Hope that helps him get the playing time and recognition he deserves.

Actually, both are. Foster is with the Steelers now. It would be great to see both of these guys make impacts over the long haul.

If Foster was 5'10, I truly believe he would be starting at WR/RS for someone.

Jason Foster was a helluva college player.

I musta missed it, where is Jason playing in the NFL?

Now back to the point about Corey. He got a pick and earned a spot on the roster when therye were 8 safeties in camp.

He is a gamer and a good person.

True, however, Foster can't help his size. Height is something people can't control and unfortunately his lack of height makes his road to the NFL an uphill battle, especially since he is coming from a FCS school.
