Everybody likes home cooking. And in a week of big matchups, it was home teams that stood out in this week’s slate of games.

Only one nationally-ranked team lost to a lower-ranked team at home this week - and that was to a higher-ranked team in a triple-overtime thriller. Across the Top 25 and around FCS, teams everywhere said: There’s no place like home.

Incredible that so many home teams won... had SDSU held on, I think every ranked home team would have won this week (and McNeese State was the higher-ranked team, so it wasn't a stretch).
