Ivy League - Week 4 Games

Saturday, October 11th
CORNELL at HARVARD, 12 Noon (VERSUS)
Lafayette at COLUMBIA, 12:30 pm
YALE at DARTMOUTH, 12:30 pm (NESN)
BROWN at Holy Cross, 1:00 pm
PRINCETON at Colgate, 1:00 pm
PENN at Georgetown, 2:00 pm

GAME OF THE WEEK: No brainer: Cornell at Harvard. A must win for the Crimson as they look to avoid that fatal 0-2 start in the Ivy. The Crimson aren't taking the Big Red lightly like Yale did two weeks ago.

DUD OF THE WEEK: Penn at Georgetown. Penn has struggled in '08; the Hoyas have struggled even more.

PREDICTIONS: Last week I was a respectable 4-2 (overall now 15-5 on the year). This week my picks are Harvard, Lafayette, Yale, Brown, Colgate and Penn.

So far all in remarkable agreement except over Tigers-Raiders (& 1 vote for Brown)... at least we'll all be surprised together if (when) something goes awry.

:D

Harvard thrashed CCNY (Cow College of New York), 38-17, and exposed them for the pretenders they are.:p

Yale appears to have its mojo back. The stars are re-aligning.xcoolx

The Brown-Holy Cross was a very entertaining game. Great offensive showdown that set many records, and an awful performance by defenses. Michael Dougherty and Dominic Randolph both played an amazing game, with 526 and 430 passing yards, respectively, 4 touchdowns each, and no interceptions (no turnovers for either team). Too bad we couldn't win this one.
